Cottage rentals in Tuscany. Self-catering holiday homes to rent in Tuscany in Italy. Self-catering holiday houses to rent in Tuscany. Stay in a historic village and discover Lunigiana the Hidden Tuscany, lying between the Apuane Alps and the Appennines, an unspoilt area that has retained the real Italian atmosphere.
Rometta Rometta is a small working village, parts of which date back at least 400 years and is located on the north side of the Aulla - Fivizzano road. The village is served by a rail and bus. There are a few local shops and bars providing for all your daily needs.

Accommodation is within an historic house, accessed through what was a former manor house. Casa Canoa sopra (the main house), is arranged over two floors, has two bedrooms one with double bed, the other with two singles, a full bathroom and a large eat-in kitchen. A bright and airy double aspect sitting room on the top floor has views to the wooded hills and the village of Ceserano.
Below with a separate access also through the manor house is a spacious self-contained studio with fully sprung sofa bed, living area, kitchenette and separate shower room. The whole property is centrally heated and was extensively refurbished in 2003 and newly furnished. For full details visit our web site:

Activities (on site and in local area)
The local scenery is stunning, as is the coast with the hanging villages of
the Cinque Terre, a national park, the millionaire’s harbour of Portofino
and the less well-known port of Portovenere. Small coves and public beaches
are to be found at Lerici and the more typical Mediterranean private pay
beaches on the Massa coast. The location serves as an excellent base to
explore Firenze, Parma, Pisa and Lucca. The city of Milan is just over two
hours away and the Lakes three, although these are probably better seen on a
two-centre basis.
